1. Object and Validity of These T&Cs

Welcome to the Terms & Conditions (the "T&Cs") for QuickListen: Book Summaries. These T&Cs establish the legal foundation for your use of QuickListen services. We aim to clearly define your rights and our rights before you use the QuickListen mobile application or services.

Please be aware that if you subscribe to our services for a specified term (the "Initial Term"), your subscription may automatically renew for additional periods of the same duration, depending on the plan you choose, unless you cancel it as outlined below.

The Company

QuickListen operates a platform for concise listening and active learning through book summaries and audio content. Our services are accessible via the QuickListen mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). QuickListen transforms key insights from top-selling books into concise audio summaries, allowing you to discover new books and content on your mobile device.

The use of the Platform is subject to these T&Cs in their current form at the time of your registration or order, and as they may be amended from time to time. QuickListen does not accept any differing general terms and conditions unless we explicitly agree to their validity in writing.

2. QuickListen Services and Rights

QuickListen offers concise audio summaries from top-rated books (the "Platform Content"), allowing you to grasp their key insights quickly. Additionally, QuickListen provides a personal profile that you can customize with your preferred platform content, bookmarks, and sorted categories and lists.

The range of Platform Content and usage options (the "License") depends on the type of account you select. There are differences between a free account, a paid subscription, a free trial, and the purchase of individual content. The license duration is limited to the validity period of the respective subscription.

The rights to the QuickListen service and the content distributed through it are and will remain with QuickListen and/or its licensors. Our Platform Content is generally protected by copyrights and may not be redistributed by you.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using QuickListen, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these T&Cs. If you do not agree to these T&Cs, you should not use our Services. Users must be at least 13 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian if under 18.

QuickListen offers various subscription plans to access premium content. Payment can be made using approved payment methods as specified during the purchase process.

QuickListen offers two paid subscription services on an automatically renewing basis: the Monthly and Yearly Plans ("Recurring Subscriptions"). By subscribing, you consent to your subscription being automatically renewed at the end of each subscription period.

Cancellation:

To avoid being charged for the next subscription period, you must cancel your Recurring Subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. If you subscribed through an app store, you must cancel directly through that platform.

This includes damages for lost profits, lost revenues, lost savings, lost business opportunities, data loss, goodwill loss, service interruptions, computer damage, system failure, or the cost of substitute services.

The QuickListen Service may include links to third-party content or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We do not endorse or take responsibility for any such third-party content or services.

10. Amendments to Terms

QuickListen reserves the right to amend or supplement these T&Cs in the future. We will notify you of any amendments at least four weeks before they take effect. This notification will be sent to the email address you provided during registration.
